The premise: a carnival that refused to go dark

Wonderland is a cooperative Roblox horror game made by ScaryPlay, the studio behind The Mimic. The setting starts from a simple idea: an abandoned amusement park that, instead of disappearing, kept switching on its lights for an audience that no longer exists.

Every run drops you into a dark carnival that re-randomizes. The posters, the entities, and the horror-fair aesthetic tell the story in fragments: a place that keeps its show alive long after the last guest left.

The performers: Wonder, Wander and Mr. Sun

At the heart of the wonderland lore are the performers who never left the stage. The final duo Wonder and Wander share the last boss health bar: two mirror figures who dance on the final plate and swap their pattern every few seconds.

Behind them waits Mr. Sun, a final sun-headed entity that watches over the park's closing. It is the community-ranked S-tier that crowns the last chase — the image of a show that insists on keeping its lights on.

The Lumins: the fairground's lost lights

The Lumins are small multicolored creatures, described as the only genuinely alive lights in the horror park. They drift through the levels as collectibles and, once you carry at least four of them to Zippy, they mark the escape route on the map.

In the lore they work as central motifs of life inside a park of spectral creatures: bits of color you can gather to find the exit when everything else wants to hold you there.

Zippy, the guide who wakes up

Zippy is a helper NPC shaped like a green backpack. After you collect four Lumins, it runs to the escape and marks it on the map. It is the only entity that clearly wants the player's good amid the fairground of hunters.

Its role ties the collecting mechanic to the story: gathering the park's lost lights wakes the one ally the carnival has and opens the ending.

The ending and why it stays open

The wonderland lore is told through posters, entities, and the dance of Wonder and Wander, not through an explicit script. The park refuses to close, so the story ends deliberately open.

ScaryPlay keeps adding content, so the ending can expand with every patch. Until then, every run is another pass through a show that refuses to power down.

The bridge with The Mimic

Wonderland shares a studio with The Mimic, and many players arrive after finding it through that saga. Though the two are different experiences — one a chapter-driven story, the other an open randomized escape — they share the same studio DNA: fear, chases, and a world that feels alive.
